As directed by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor the School of Distance Education has decided to hold
Grievance Day on every Tuesday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. The contention is that though the admission
process has been streamlined there are some problems which need immediate attention and redressal.
The Grievance day will be chaired by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Bharathiar University. The
first grievance day was held on 23-06-2009 and also held on every Tuesday.
During the Grievance day proceedings, the students of SDE, their parents and the Centre coordinators
can tell their grievances either in person (or) over phone (0422 – 2425 222 or 0422 - 2428 201
or 0422 - 2428 216 or 0422 - 2427742). Complaints and grievances can also be sent through e-mail
(sde@b-u.ac.in or vc@b-u.ac.in) and the problem will be addressed via the same medium.
Candidates / parents of candidates / Spot Admission Centre Coordinators shall avail the
opportunity and get redressed of the problems.
The Centre coordinators are requested to display the same in the Notice Board.
